Sending us your Films/Files
If your file or film is lost in transit to us, there is nothing we
can do. You need therefore to use an insured postal service if your
photos are of value.
Note that our postman is not always terribly good at delivering bulky
or ‘to be signed for’ packets. We visit the sorting office
every few days but if your photos are ‘to be signed for’,
registered or just bulky you would be well advised to drop us an email
on the day they are sent.
If your file is corrupted in any way, we will ask you to repeat the
send. If your file contains a virus it should not get through our
firewall and we may never know you have sent it. If you do not hear
from us within 48 hours of your despatch to us you may need to check
with us that the file has been received and maybe repeat the process
with a clean file.
Compensation/Refunds Policy
If we damage your film during developing or printing then we follow
industry practice, and undertake to replace any damaged films with
new, and offer to develop and print them free of charge. In practice
this is such a rare event that we will go much further than that and
offer a three film deal. Refunds may occasionally be offered at the
discretion of the management
If we were to damage your file, e.g. your CD, we will ask you to
replace it and will print the photos free of charge. DO NOT DELETE
your original files until you receive your prints. |
Loss of Property
If your order is lost in transit from us to you, it will be insured
to a maximum value of £2500, and you will need to register the
loss so that we may claim. In any case your order will remain on file
with us for 3 weeks and we can therefore re-print and replace the
photos and produce a CD for a permanent record. Obviously, any negatives
will be lost.
Formats
We will accept no responsibility for loss or damage to any cameras,
phones, memory cards or USB drives sent to us. We really, really do
not want you to send us these things. Please transfer your files to
CD, floppy or zip disc.
To ensure quality, we take care with our work and inspect most photos.
If we are not comfortable printing your photos we will not do so,
advising you accordingly.
Privacy Promise
We are an independent company and have no interest in your personal
details. Any details given to us will be used solely for processing
your order(s) and will not be disclosed to any other party, with the
exception of police instigated enquiry. Your photos will normally
be held on our computers for three weeks from receipt, in case reprints
are required. They will then be deleted and cannot be retrieved. If
we have not printed them (see paragraph above) they will be deleted
immediately. If you have any concerns, or need specific files kept
on record, please do not hesitate to contact
