Mail Order Prints from Film or CD
Prints from Film
We can process and print colour or black and white 110 film, 35mm film, ‘disposable’
single use cameras, APS films and 120/220 Films including E6 transparency slide film.
Black and White films other than C41 are developed by hand and may take a day longer
and will be charged a supplement of £2. The service for E6 and 110 films now takes
up to 5 working days.
The 120/220 service may be of particular interest as not all ‘mini-labs’
are equipped to deal with these films and the prices will be quite different from
those of a ‘Professional’ laboratory. We can
transfer any or all of your photos to a CD or DVD if required.
Reprints from Negatives
Unlike many, we can accept single negatives for reprinting with no surcharge, although
we prefer strips or uncut rolls.
We are happy to produce reprints from old negatives but cannot accept responsibility
for the condition of the negatives or consequent marks or faults on the prints produced
from them.
We are able to undertake restoration work and colourising, but need to see the original
before offering a quotation.
Prints from Digital Files
We can print from CD or DVD, Floppy Disc or Zip Disc. Please DO NOT however send
us cameras, phones, camera/phone memory cards or USB jump drives.
Of course we are able to print from them but we will not accept responsibility for
loss or damage to such items.
You will be much better served by transferring files to a CD or DVD or uploading them to
the website. All discs sent to us will be returned with your order.
Prints from transparency (slide) film
It sometimes happens that an E6 colour film is purchased in error and prints - not transparencies - are required. We are happy to develop E6 film and print from it. There is a £2.50 surcharge per film and the service may take 5 working days. There is no facility at present to pay this surcharge using the website, so we ask you to pay by cheque with your order. Thanks.
Sometimes "cross-processing" is required, ie you deliberately want an E6 slide film processed with C41 chemicals to acheive a particular effect on the colours. If that is the case, there is no surcharge or delay, BUT we ask you to mark your order form clearly and unambiguously PLEASE CROSS-PROCESS.
We can make prints from old slides and transparencies at normal prices. Just process your order as if negative reprints that are required.
If you do require slides or transparencies from an E6 film, we suggest that you contact a specialist with the necessary mounting equipment.
Black and White films
Some black and white films are made specifically for the "usual" C41 process (For example Ilford XP2 or Kodak BW400CN). If this is the case please just follow the order process. There is no price difference.
Otherwise, for all other Black and White films (Examine the cassette or reel carefully for the phrase "C41), we develop by hand, for which there is a £2 per film surcharge. If you wish us to 'push' or 'pull' the developing, please note clearly on the order form. There is no facility at present to pay this surcharge using the website, so we ask you to pay by cheque with your order. Thanks.

All prices include packaging and postage by First Class mail within the UK. We undertake
to despatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt (Except 110, E5 and hand developed B/W films).
To ensure quality we take care with our work and inspect most photos. We are therefore
not comfortable printing pornographic photos and will return any such films developed
but unprinted.
If you so request and if you provide us with a mobile telephone number or email address we will acknowledge
receipt and advise despatch by text message or email.
All orders of more than 10 prints up to 8” x 6” packed flat and securely,
sizes up to 12” x 10” and all orders of less than
10 prints will be supplied in card folders within card backed envelopes within ‘Jiffy’
bags. Larger sizes will be rolled and mailed in cardboard tubes.
